Benefits of Plants

As humans, we are often drawn to nature. When we can’t be outside, we bring Nature Indoors via indoor plants. This innate connection with nature is what is called Biophilia, and there’s a good reason for it.

According to multiple studies, indoor plants have been known to decrease anxiety and increase productivity and attentiveness. Some studies have shown an increase in productivity by up to 12%! That’s almost a whole slice of pizza!

NASA1 also conducted a study2 proving that indoor plants clean the air. According to the study, live plants, or more accurately their roots and soil, work as a natural filtration system cleaning the air as it passes through.

Now that you know just how beneficial live plants are, it’s time to introduce them to your space! There are a myriad of ways to incorporate Nature Indoors. One popular way is by utilizing indoor planters to spread the plants into different areas. Another popular option is a living wall. These living walls are live plants positioned vertically (on a wall) to create a beautiful piece of art. If you don’t have a green thumb, don’t worry; you can hire an interior plant service to provide maintenance for you. All you have to do is reap the benefits!
